A garden, a barn, and a lifetime of learning

Holly Singleton is the owner and trainer behind Top O’ the Line Farm and the grower behind NorCal Iris Gardens in Redding, California.

What began with horses and a love of the outdoors grew into a wonderfully diverse farm: registered Haflingers, riding and training programs, miniature horses, llamas, peafowl, specialty chickens, and rows upon rows of iris. Holly’s old farm records preserve decades of bloodlines, foals, show horses, lesson horses, and trusted family companions. The iris garden carries that same attention to detail—every rhizome is handled, inspected, and prepared by hand.

The farm sits in Redding near Mount Shasta, Shasta Lake, and Shasta Dam—the “Three Shastas” that shape this corner of Northern California. Hot, dry summers, cool wet winters, and volcanic soils create a place where strong iris and hardy farm animals thrive.
